Well, Mr. Taxi’s name is actually Keithus Aurelius… but everyone just calls him Mr. Taxi (because his name is kind of hard to pronounce!) He wants to do everything he can to make his passengers happy! Do you like to make others happy too? He is always reading about places in the world that he wants to visit and tries to find those places on his maps! Do you have places you’d like to go? Can you find and mark them on a map?

What an adorable family Mr. and Mrs. Hedgehog have! And they are so excited to enjoy a fun day of playing games, digging holes, and going swimming out in the wild! Isn’t it wonderful when grown-ups take you somewhere outside to play? Do YOU have a favorite game? Mr. and Mrs. Hedgehog even brought a special book of silly game ideas! Can you find it?
Because there are so many of them, they always have to squish together everywhere they go! They would love to have more room!
And who is that with them? That is their sweet and adorable adopted sister! She is an echidna … and she really, really, really wishes she had a HAT!

Dazzling! Fancy! Colorful! That’s what these three friends are!
What a bounty of beautiful feathers Mr. Peacock has! He puts on quite a brilliant show when they are spread out wide!
He loves to look through magazines to discover new ways to style them. Isn’t it fun to style your own feathers (that’s hair for humans) in playful ways?
One of his friendly friends is Victoria, the crowned pigeon. She treats everyone like they are her own family and loves sharing her special yoga skills with others … like balancing on one leg … or sitting quietly to just listen and be. What are all the things you can hear when you sit quietly? Can you balance on one leg, too? Victoria also likes to eat her fruits and vegetables! She says, “The more you eat them, the better you think!”
Mr. Peacock and Victoria’s friend, Royal, would rather catch and eat flies! EW! He’s always on the lookout … not just for flies … but for all KINDS of interesting things to see.
Can you spot him with his binoculars around his neck? He loves to examine things up close … (because … his bird’s eye vision … well … it’s not so great.)

People think these two best friends are twins … but they’re not! They ARE very best friends, though! Captain Croc is a crocodile … and his buddy, Al, is an Alligator.
Captain Croc deeply dreams of having a boat one day … but until he does, he just pretends that anything floating on the water will do! And … he never goes anywhere without his cap! (I think sweet sister echidna reeeeally wants to wear it!)
Croc’s buddy, Al, looks tough and strong on the outside … but on the inside, he is gentle and kind. He wants to help when others can’t tell them apart, so he wears a gold chain with the letter A on it so that they won’t be confused. (pssst … A is for Alligator) Plus, the gold chain matches his shiny gold tooth!
The little handbook that he carries teaches him how to keep ALL of his teeth clean and bright … but he REALLY loves polishing up his GOLD tooth so that it twinkles like a star when he smiles his friendly smile! Do you keep YOUR teeth clean and twinkly?

Even though Giraffe and Ostrich are both unquestionably tall with truely long necks, they are really quite different from each other! But it doesn’t matter to them … they simply love being together!
Giraffe is Ostrich’s loyal and protective friend. How elegant she looks wearing her patterned coat of fur. She is graceful and beautiful … gentle and kind. And … she loves to explore and learn!
Ostrich? Well … she is her own unique feathered self! Even though she has feathers, she can’t fly. Actually, she has hardly any feathers on her neck at all! She only has two toes on each foot. And … she swallows her food whole!
So … why do such different friends enjoy being together? Because … that makes life SO much more fun!

These two sweethearts are all gussied up for their big date at the park! They have both spent quite some time finding just the right outfit for their special day. And look at Missy Prissy’s pretty, pink-polkadot outfit! She even has just enough room for her darling little bow to fit sweetly between her teeny-tiny-little ears!
How dapper Rhino is in his sharp looking vest! Is that a box of valentine chocolates he is carrying? (pssst … Do you think he is going to give them to Missy Prissy?) How many chocolates do you think are in the box? Can you count them? Yum!
